New entrance to the wood

Thanks to a grant from the RDPE LEADER Wash Fens some of the paths within the original section of Beech Wood are being upgraded and widened to form an intergrated circuit with the paths on the new sections of the site. These will improve improve access especially for cyclists and wheelchair users and also enhance the ambiance within the wood.

7th July: Work has started, please avoid sections of path which are closed for your safety.

24th July. Base finished - in places! Good job guys.

18th August. Tarmacs down so it may all be finished off next weeK.

6th September. Our great volunteers are on the finishing touches as the path is completed.
