About Us

Located on Fenside Road, Boston.

PE21 8LA

The Beech Wood Green Burial site is part of The Boston Woods Trust. Fenside Woods are the second phase of our long term dream to plant an arc of wood and parkland around the west of Boston. The  Beech Wood was planted in 2001 and is now established woodland attracting birds and other wildlife. More recently we have extended the area to include Pioneer Wood, with its pond and small amphitheatre and the Beech Wood Green Burial site. This gives a 22 acre site close to the River Witham on the edge of Boston in a peaceful yet accessible site where walkers and visitors are welcome at all times.

The five acres of the Beech Wood Green Burial site have been landscaped with an all-weather perimeter path and planted with over 4000 native deciduous trees. This land will be managed by The Boston Woods Trust in conjunction with the rest of the Fenside Woods and  The Sir Joseph Banks Country Park and Woods at Wyberton. Our aim is to increase biodiversity in the area whilst providing natural recreational areas for locals and visitors as well as this Green Burial site.

Beech Wood Green Burial is a member of the Association of Natural Burial Grounds
